Sales Stall

The two final events for this year were at the beginning and end of September. The stall was looking somewhat depleted so we decided on a major round up of everything we could find. Some things came to light that had probably been stashed away for years! Fully stocked and priced ready for the Rural Craft Fair at Rainford the following morning, Colin discovered the brakes on the caravan had seized and nothing would move. The weather forecast luckily wasn't showing any rain so we took the chance and two cars and set up in the open. It was a good day but not as busy as usual because car parking was very limited this time.

The caravan was back on the road in time for the Fair Organ & Vintage Rally at Widnes. It was a busy, lively and noisy weekend. Trying to talk over the competing sound of several fair organs was difficult but it's the first time I can remember clearing the stall of all our leaflets and newsletters. Sales were excellent and the show was a good end to the season. Thanks as usual to everyone who has manned the stall, donated goods, fixed the brakes and generally supported us throughout the year.
