Part 2: News from the Three Boroughs

Halton BC

Work will shortly commence at Spike Island on £350,000 project to provide a new themed play area, improvements to pathways, and a new approach route to the Catalyst Museum This will further complement the proposed development along the whole of the canal within the borough.

Warrington BC

We eagerly await the results of the Recreational Survey that was carried out on their behalf by Royal Haskoning this promises to enhance the area around Bewsey Lock and improve the rest of the canal that passes through Sankey Valley Park and the rest of the borough.

St.Helens MBC

Work as now started on the refurbishment of Blackbrook Visitor Centre, which will then become the Blackbrook Heritage Centre. The refurbishment will provide IT equipment, a meeting room, and other facilities.
