Membership Matters

Welcome to New Member:

John Cummins from Warrington

Tom Glover

We were sorry to hear of the death of Tom Glover on 15 November 2006, aged 88. Tom was a Founder Member of SCARS and its first Honorary Treasurer, during 1985/6, reluctantly resigning the position because of ill health.

Tom served as a Major with the First Army, and was a man of many interests and talents. He kept SCARS' books in a meticulous double entry fashion. After his resignation, both he and his wife Mildred maintained their interest in the Society, became life members and were generous supporters of the Society in other ways.

We offer our sympathy to Mildred and their sons and daughters and their families.
