Sales Stall

The final outings of the sales stall during September were both worthwhile events and with good weather.

Admittedly the ground at Siding Lane was so waterlogged, we had to be towed on and off but the Rural Craft Fair was good if a bit smaller than usual and we were able to keep up with some of our local contacts. (Pictured)

The Fair Organ and Vintage Rally in Widnes was a busy end to the season.  Added to the preparation for the show was the need to pack for holiday, we flew to China two days after it.  The weekend event attracted the crowds and despite opposition on all sides, the sales stall did well.  Thanks to Peter Keen who helped out on Saturday while I was on my own.  He passed on information and answered questions, most of which would have left me floored but the customers got a good return for their money!  When we got home and the caravan was parked up and the takings counted, we thought “that’s it no more canals, concentrate on the holiday”.  Funnily enough we had a canal trip in the middle of Beijing zoo!

As usual, thanks to everyone who contributed to the stall.  Next year we hope there will be more/different opportunities to get out and about with better weather too.
