CARTERHOUSE BRIDGE—SOON TO SWING AGAIN!

Inside our Chair reports that Halton Borough Council have secured
the funding to restore the swing bridge along the most extensive
navigable length of the Sankey at Widnes. It is hoped that this will
take place in 2009/ 2010.
