SCARS' Working Party's recent work was replacing the fencing around the Hulme Lock Cottage excavation site.

After removing the temporary fencing, which attracted vandalism and thus became ineffective, tidying up was carried out.

As old fencing is carried away...

... the site is improved with some landscaping.
