Our A.G.M., Thursday, March 26th at the Raven Lodge Hotel, Church Street, St Helens

Notices and Papers for this year's AGM will reach you soon. Among them will be an "Annual Report". The Charity Commission will require every charity to produce such a Report of its activities over the preceding year. This rule comes into effect next year. We have decided to have a "dummy run" this year to try to ensure we produce what is required next year. We would value your comments on this Report - especially any which will enable us to improve it for the following year.

Please turn up for the AGM. The work of seeing that the Atkins Report is taken forward, by attracting the funding needed to restore the Canal, involves quite a bit of effort from the Executive and Officers - and your turning up at this Meeting is one way of encouraging them by showing your appreciation for the time and energy they put in.
